FURIA reached the Grand Finals for the first time in the organization's history. After losing the opening map of their Playoffs, they rallied back against 9z Team to win 2-1 in the Quarterfinals and then took down Aurora Gaming 2-0 in the Semifinals.
Team Falcons punched their ticket to the Grand Finals by defeating Team Spirit 2-1 in dramatic fashion, needing Overtime in the third map. Earlier, they had taken down the world's #1 team, Team Vitality, 2-1 in the Quarterfinals. This marks Team Falcons' first Major Championship appearance.
The Grand Finals promise to be a clash of two teams that have overcome significant challenges. FURIA's resilience after an initial loss and Falcons' upset victories over top-ranked opponents set the stage for a thrilling conclusion to the Major.
